Itinerary

DAY 1 - Solta Island

We'll start our first day of cycling in the small port town of Maslinica on the Island of Solta. You will cycle by olive and fig groves and fields of lavender as we make our way to Stomorska where we will stay for the night. But not before a visit with our favourite bee keeper!

DAY 2 - Hvar Island

Hvar Island Ride of 28 or 63km / 17m or 40m.

This morning we sail to Stari Grad on the island of Hvar, the sunniest island in the Adriatic, riding from Stari Grad to the town of Hvar past fields of Lavender and orchards of olive and orange trees. We stay overnight in the town of Hvar, which has become a Mecca for artists and artisans — and the people who love them.

DAY 3 - Island of Vis

Island of Vis Ride of 35km / 22m.

Vis is the island farthest from the mainland. More than 2,300 years ago the Greek colony of Issa was already flourishing here. Due to its strategic location, Vis was a military zone until 1995 and prohibited for foreign tourists. Today we have the opportunity to explore it’s gentle beauty and at a local vineyard.

DAY 4 - Korcula Island

Korcula Island Ride of 58km / 36m.

Korcula is a balm for the senses, and many consider this calming, generous island and its many cypress gardens to be the most beautiful of the Dalmatians. We start today's bike ride in the sleepy town of Prigradica en route to Blato before ascending up past Pupnat Bay and descending in to the town of Korcula, the birthplace of Marco Polo.

DAY 5 - Islands of Hvar and Brac

Islands of Hvar and Brac Ride of 35km / 22m.

Today we are back to the southern point of Hvar where we have a fantastic morning bike ride from Sucuraj to the beautiful bay of Pokrivenik before heading to Brac and the town of Pucisca, famed for its white marble which was used in many famous buildings such as the White House and the Reichstag in Berlin.

DAY 6 - Cetina Canyon

Cetina Canyon Ride of 48km / 30m.

After a short crossing to Omis, we'll bike to the valley of the Cetina River, which has etched itself deeply into the cliff side. For those wishing to take a break from the saddle you have the option of a 3-hour river rafting excursion down the Cetina River truly an experience not to miss.

DAY 7 - Split and Trogir

Enjoy the day, free to wander the streets of Split this UNESCO World Heritage site, originally a palace to the Roman Emperor Gaius Diocletian before we head back to Trogir in the late afternoon. Reminisceant of Venice take the afternoon to discover this little town.

DAY 8 - Farewell

After our last breakfast reminiscing about the week's adventures, we will begin our journey homeward or beyond.
